During my internship, I designed, developed, and maintained RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party systems. I also worked with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible, applying automation principles to streamline deployments and infrastructure provisioning. I developed database-driven applications using Dapper and EF Core with a focus on clean architecture, ensuring code quality through unit testing and maintaining team collaboration via Git version control. Additionally, I gained hands-on experience with Docker, focusing on containerization, deployment, and maintaining consistent environments across different stages of development. I managed relational databases using SQL Server Management Studio, optimizing queries and ensuring data integrity through indexing and tuning strategies. I also supported QA testing by resolving bugs and handling technical support tickets, contributing to a smooth development life cycle and an improved user experience.
I am responsible for delivering comprehensive helpdesk support by resolving user issues both remotely and onsite. I handle unassigned tickets by assigning them to the appropriate engineer and manage major incidents to ensure timely and effective resolution. I proactively monitor IT systems, perform regular maintenance to prevent potential problems, and ensure that all software and systems are up-to-date and secure through diligent software updates and patch management. Additionally, I manage and optimize network performance and security, implement and oversee cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems, and manage data backups and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
During my Work Integrated Learning, I was responsible for maintaining hardware, updating software, troubleshooting, providing technical support for colleagues, fixing smartboards, and configuring networks as an ICT coordinator.
